Does It Really Matter if You Don’t Mix or Match Your Bra and Panties

For some women, the need to have matching lingerie from head to toe is more than just a need- it is a deep seeded obsession. For other women, the ability to mix up some of their lingerie pieces is just an inherent ability. But, is it better to mix things up or should you keep all of your bra and panties as a set?The Case for Mixing Things Up a Bit

Don’t get me wrong, wearing matching bra and panties sets does not make you a bad person or an uncreative person or whatever, but if it keeps you from wearing the great bra or the perfect pair of panties because the other piece is not going to work for you, then there might be a problem. Think of this: sometimes those pieces, even though they were obviously designed to go with one another are not going to work with the outfit that you are wearing.

Case in point: a gorgeous red lace bra and g-string panty set. You bought it because the bra fits perfectly and because the g-string gives you no panty line at all and besides, it is just the prettiest thing you have ever seen. You are dressing for work, knowing that you are going to wear your favorite power suit. The skirt is clingy and figure hugging, the jacket nips in at your waist perfectly. But, the red bra does not work with the white blouse and that is your only clean option at the moment. Yes, you know that you are going to wear the g-string because it is the one that works the best with the clinging skirt. Do you put up with the wrong panties just because you cannot wear a red bra?

The Case for Keeping Things Matched

On the other hand, if you are entertaining someone who is going to end up seeing your unmentionables, you might want to keep your bra and panty set together. Wearing the matched set will help you feel more put together and sexier.  However, you might keep this in mind as well: once he gets down to the bra and panties, he is not going to care that one is emerald green and satin and the other is sky blue lace.
